Spending my spare time going up and down mountains has taught me the benefits of the other ‘four Ps’… preparation, problem-solving, persistence and personal motivation! It has also has given the time and space to reflect, and realise that often we can all become ‘stuck’, in the daily routine, the traditional ways of working, the familiar go-to strategies, our fixed perceptions of colleagues and customers. Being challenged, and supported, to find fresh perspectives, to realise it’s not a question of ‘this way’ or ‘that way’, but that the solution lies in the other way, leads to both business and personal growth.
